Ice Storm

In January 2005 an ice storm hit Lake Geneva, Switzerland and froze nearly everything in its path. These pictures show the beauty and power of nature.

I would not be suprised that these were not from a traditional ice storm, but from a combination of deep freeze and wind. It looks like it is near the “plume” of water that normally comes out of lake geneva. It’s a really pretty water plume that launches nearly 100 feet into the air.
