So lets say someone is doing a basket toss and gets thrown approx 10 feet in the air in cheerleading, manages to go slightly off course when she’d getting thrown up, she can get thrown meters away from her bases and can sustain serious, even life threatening injuries. What we do is not easy, It is dangerous and people do die.

Excuse me but my mom died in a horseback riding accident. She was a 3 day eventer and her horse jumped the fence funny and flipped over, landed on top of her, then rolled around and kicked her in the head.You can’t tell me that anything can be more dangerous than galloping full tilt towards a 6 foot high wall at like 30 km/h on an unpredictable 1100 pound animal. Oh and did I mention I broke my back riding MY horse?

O.k. cheerleading is dangerous and high schools set horrible examples of real cheer but i have like five best friends and they are all flyers and they are on a advanced level but none of them have anything more than brusies. Gymnastics is never thought about. I was a gymnasts and it takes everything. Olympic gymnast give their lifes away to train and one wrong move or twist can kill you. Sadly while i was out i had a really big grwoth spurt and that threw gymnastics out the door. I weigh 100 lbs and i ride and me against a 1500 pound horse? Not a chance. But i love it and i go through pain to do what i love. We take years to perfect every detail and there has to be a special bond between person and horse. Plus you have to feed your horse grom them take care of take take and train horses. It is a sport and one that we risk our lifesevery time we do it. So everyone who thinks we just wear fancy outfits that we spend tons aof money on and just sit on a horse and it does everything just close your mouth ill take you out to my stable and ill let you do a round of jumps and you can take that back as you heal in the hospital.

I think tumbling and gymnastics are the most dangerous sport. All my friends who have did tumbling or gymnactics broke there leg, arm,wrist, neck,ankle and hand. But if you really think about it whatever sport you like to play or think its cool to play your going to prombley say that your favorite sport is whatever you like. But there are some dangerous sports out there. Please write comments about what I wrote! Thank you

How many people die doing cheerleading or gymnastics, you’re more likely to die doing any of the sports on that list, and I think in terms of danger you can’t say that injuries count for more than deaths.
