    I’m pretty sure that’s *NOT* an “update,” but rather a careful attempt to restore the original colors based on archaeological evidence.

    Google around for it, I’m serious. I don’t like it either, but I believe it’s legit.

    yep, thats right. ancient rome and athens temples were known for being absolutly colorfull in every corner.
    the colors vanished, and people started assuming, thats the way it always has been
