We continue our exploration of the mass fun events in various countries of the world. The Carnival season in Germany is considered to be the “fifth season of the year”, starting at November 11th at exactly 11:11 a.m. The culmination of the festival season, Rose Monday, was marked yesterday with the famous “Rosenmontagszug” (Rose Monday Parade) in Cologne, Dusseldorf and many other cities.
