The International Geneva Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show started in 1905 and is held at Palexpo, a giant convention center located next to the International Airport.
Almost all motor combustion models have been featured in the show – ranging from benzene to steam, with many exotic and supercars stealing the spotlights throughout the 20th century. Prototypes, new equipment, technical breakthroughs, and international partnerships as well as political and social debates are all landmarks of this international exhibition. (Wiki)
This year’s show is scheduled to be held on 4 – 16 March 2008 where some new amazing concept cars and serial models are going to be presented to the public. Here are the photos from the first day of the show, let’s have a look!

Can I get some more info/website/pics of the 5th photo from the bottom? The four wheeled tilting motorcycle-like thing?
This is Sbarro Pendolauto and here are some web-sites with the info and pics: http://www.salon-auto.ch/en/premieres/index2.php?idIndex=1253&idContent=8682 and http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2008/march/1-9/mar0408sbarrosfourwheeledmotorcycle/?&R=EPI-99011
Thanks.
Bikes are for pussies.
Oh, wow.
You told me.
I don’t know how I’ll handle myself now.
And your amazing amount of insight boggles the mind.
Why is there a Seat logo on the headlight of the Audi R8?
Thats a good question…
John,
Is not the Audi R8 headlight, but actually of the Seat Bocanegra.
Thanks, it made google some photos. I know SEAT and Audi are cousins in the VW-group but that was still a lame copy of one of the R8′s most distinct features.
That SAAB is the most hideous think I’ve seen in years, even worse than the Scion.
The “ME WANT!” car up there is the new VW Scirocco, the red car in the second pic. It has the same power, quality and economy as a Golf, but it looks great. “Tuner kit” versions have 380bhp.
