That’s how the foreign magazines are censored in Iran. Black slabs of ink and white stickers are widely used to hide nudity as they understand it. I guess people of Iran are not really ready for Funtasticus yet. Poor them!

This issue of NG is about this phenomenon called love. The cover is a photo of a couple in embrace, not really kissing, but almost.

How pathetic. I guess some people like being closed-minded and keeping their heads in the sand.
Mmmmm knees. How sinfully sexy.
Hi . I am Iranian . Iran is Freedam country but some of this is true.
but Iran have Election and role.
in all of country in midel east kings or person like kings have power.
Iran have big history.
Well, they don’t seem to censor the text though? I’d argue that would be more severe than some almost nutidy not shown.
Well, everyone knows that we’ve got a stupid regime, people hate the regime and they usually get to find some not censored stuff, I’m a Fan of the Friday girls though
Yeah, we have censor in Iran, but Iranians are not Iran government.
hi
i am from iran and your site is in my bookmark list …. i come to your site every day.
people in iran have different with the government of it
keep going
bye
Thanks for broadcasting what’s going on here, in Iran. This is totally true, they even censor medical books, because they think seeing any part of women’s body makes we men go WILD (one of them really said this a few days ago)!
Movies on the TV (we have only one governmental broadcasting, no private ones!) suffer more. They cut scenes, zoom the frames to move “some” parts of them out of view, or make frames B&W! They even change the stories: girlfriend becomes sister in translation, bitch becomes a real nice wife, and more. I remember one of these stories for “Troy”, which Helen became king Menelaus’s “daughter” in translation! (Maybe they think it’s not good for people to see someone’s wife getting away with someone else! Even they think women may learn to do this from tomorrow!)
At last, I think that most people laugh at these acts, because many of them watch these movies on DVDs (no copyright here!), or on the Sattelite channels!
And of course life goes on, anyway!
P.S: Sorry for my not-very-good English!
yes we have governmental censor but iranians are diferent from government

I am so sick of what goes on over there. The censorship is appalling. I am hoping you can help. Can you put together a list of proxies that I could send family members?
I have found a bunch and would be happy to start the list for you. The best one I found.. http://rosvayee.com/
