I am distinctly saddened by many of the responses posted on this page, though happy to see that some people realise the psychological realities of men who are attracted to women who look like 14 year old boys with excessively large breast implants. It is incredibly unfortunate however, that it seems it’s only women who recognize this. Also, I am happy to see that some people understand that everyone is attracted to something different and that people’s minds, truly, have been warped by the media. If you look back in history, over paintings, at goddesses, depictions of slaves, what was desirable, was a curvy figure, not at all unlike Chloe. Curves were a sign of health. Society has warped us, and the reality is that today’s idealistic beauty is unattainable for practically the entire planet. Statistically only 5% of all the population has the genetic make-up to look like our poster board, magazine, and television idols. Furthermore, is it not ultimately disturbing that their forms are distinctly reminiscent of a pre-pubescent or mid-pubescent female figure? If you are a grown man, should you be attracted to a figure like that? Many of you seem to forget the mental and emotional disturbance society’s projection of the ideal women causes as well, on both sides of the spectrum. What if you were the 85 pound girl staring in the mirror seeing yourself as fat, and therefore unattractive, worthless, and starving yourself to death? What about your family and friends? What if you were the fat girl that spent 90% of her time in school ridiculed because you were over weight, not due to the well overstated “stuffing food in your mouth”, but because you were under such a massive amount of stress, or had a disposition because of genetics towards being heavier? What happens when you become so depressed about your figure that you no longer have any energy, you do not wish to do anything, you have no way to escape the vicious cycle? What if you were the one who wanted to take your life because of society’s ideals? Is image so important to us now, that we are putting people’s lives at risk? Sadly enough, yes, and it is the idiots, the people who lack the ability to embrace individuality (yes, yes, the stupid ones that are wasting air and space and should’ve have been weeded out of the gene pool thousands of years ago) that are continuing on and encouraging something that is costing people their happiness, their stability, their freedom even. Not only ruining their lives, but also taking them away, and harshly impacting the people that care about them.

To suggest that a fat person is unfit, unhealthy and a drain on the NHS just doesn’t really give the hole story. I’m slightly overweight, UK size 14 / 16 and I swim 60 25 metre lengths of the pool in 35 minutes twice a week. I also walk for 2 hours per day, and am a black belt 2nd dan. The only health problems I have had that drained the NHS were when I tried to cook a healthy poached egg and nearly died from kidney failure as a result of salmonella posioning!
I don’t drink, smoke or eat bloody kebabs and fry ups, yet I struggle with my weight. I don’t have anything medically wrong with me to cause this, and although I eat healthily and exercise, I am obvisoluy still eating too many calories compared to the excersie I do. That’s my problem, and that’s my life. Who are you to judge?
Some fat peopl eats loads of crap, but then again, so do some skinny people. Some fat people are very lazy and unfit, as are some skinny people. Some fat people are very fit and healthy, as are some skinny people. Try looking at the bigger picture and the individual before making assumptions.
