That’s how dentists and hairdressers work in India! No need for the office or any premises whatsoever (with a rare exception). Just a chair and a set of necessary equipment. May be beneficial for those who like fresh air but I would prefer a tidier environment. Just in case…

And here come the dentists!

Mmm… How sanitary…
No facilities to wash up/sterilize in any of these pictures…. oh sheit, dirty dirty dirty get your hands away from me … *runs away*
No disrespect intended to those people or their lifestyle, I just mean, in medical professions there are standards that should always be adhered to.
i have been to one of these barbers and i even had a tooth filling when i was in Bombay. believe it or not they did a good job, granted that sanitation is a major turn off. but in my case i had a bottle of bleach; never go to India without a bottle of bleach, it will save your life when it comes to drinking water!!!!!!; i had him soak all of the tools he was going to use in bleach before he proceeded to work on my tooth, same went for the barber.
Not wishing to take anything away from India, but most of the dentist photos are obviously from China.
@Hogar,
Actually, most of them are form India!
These street side barbers/dentists are becoming a rarity these days…
As India keeps getting more and more urban, people are relying on modern medical treatments.
That being said, these “dentists” don’t have any kind of training whatsoever!, they learn their trade form their fathers who in turn learned from their fathers…
Its a reminent of ancient India…
