t.A.T.u. is a duo formed in Moscow, Russia that consists of Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova. It was quite well-known in the US in 2002-2003. It really is Yulia or should be spelled that way to avoid confusion. Spelling the name Юлия as “Julia,” while not technically wrong, leads many people to pronounce it the English way. It is pronounced: You-Lee-Yah, never Jew-lee-uh.
