Michelle was discovered in 2002 while she happened to be staying at a hotel where a modeling convention was taking place. On Before Modeling: “I was really into surfing, so I just kind of wanted to travel a lot. And I was going to school, [where] I already had two years of nursing done, and probably join the military to pay for all of that.” Instead she became a model and is now on the cover of the French Marie Claire, July 2008.
