Well a lot of americans have strange names for our ears too. For example, “Mädchen” Amick = Mädchen is german for “girl”. Or Johnny Depp. Depp means “idiot” in german.

So the poor austrians couldn’t expect too that some english speaking tourist think the name of their village is so funny…
