It was a different world then. The social stigma of being a “dancer” would mean you could never be accepted in “polite” society. These were all pros who accepted who they were, what they did and how they were perceived. The assumption was they were whores. A pretty girl who gets nude pix done today is not automatically assumed to be a prostitute, although too many guys assume a woman who takes a nude picture is a slut.

Most of the pix we see these days that look good are young girls in their early twenties, who have personal trainers, etc. I wonder who some of them will look in 15 or 20 years.

Marilyn Monroe’s base weight was 150 pounds. She was not considered fat. In a Miss World contest in the sixties, the Swedish entrant weighed in at about 160. She was quite good looking. Times and styles change. They looked good for their time.
