Spectacular Dubai Projects

September 17th, 2008

Sometimes life just seems unfair. You cannot even begin to imagine the amount of wealth the people in Dubai have. They have got so much money that they probably have run out of things to buy. Here are some ways they have tried to spurge their mind-boggling wealth.

IT’S FUNNY MAYBE I’M WORNG BUT EVERYTIME I SEE DUBAI ON TV IT SEEMS LIKE THE PPL LIVING THERE ARE PRETTY POOR BECAUSE THE AVERAGE POPULATION DOESNT HAVE ACCESS TO GOOD SCHOOLS OR HEALTHCARE OR EVEN PAVEMENTED STREETS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, AND EVERYTIME I SEE THESE TYPES OF POSTS ABOUT HUGE BULIDING BEING BUILT THERE IT MAKES ME THINK HOW THERE ARE PPL WITH MONEY AND HOW THEIR INVESTMENTS ARE ONLY TO BENEFIT THE PPL WITH POWER OR TO FOREIGNERS AND THEIR OWN PPL. WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY SPENT ON THESE PROJECTS I’M SURE THEY CAN FEED ALOT OF PPL OR BUILD MORE SCHOOLS

some of this stuff is amazing
but i think all of it within a few miles of each other might be overkill

You’re wrong about Dubai. You probably saw a video about Iraq and figured that all the cities in the Middle East are the same. It’s a very wealthy city. All the money they get from oil and tourism, they invest it in the city. They have a good transportation system (so they do have roads) and they started building a metro. They do have schools, lots of schools, private schools and universities. And the population is mostly immigrants; people go to Dubai to make money!

When all those projects are done, Dubai is gonna be stunning. I didn’t realize they were doing much more than the Palm Islands, the Waterfront and the World though. It’s kinda funny though, ’cause they have developers doing all this, and they never, NEVER take into account that the market changes. So it ought be interesting to see if they can find people to buy all of this stuff.

Wouldn’t reckon there would be any terrorist attacks there either. Except for pissed Americans. But they’re too unorganised to do squat.

whatever they r making its becoz of trillions they have in form of oil reserves.US is spending millions on research for alternative source of energy like hydrogen fuel, electric etc.If 1 day they invent sth like that n it becomes commercial then these all middle east countries r gone!!
