In an earthquake, you don’t know when that disaster going to hit. Therefore, preparing for eathquake is mandatory, there is no mandatory evacuation before the earthquake, causing kaos out on the roads.

The disaster in hurricane last longer. The earthquake last in seconds or couple of minutes. Objects in hurricane flys sideways, the objects in earthquake falls down.
There’s minimum place to walk in a hurricane (by shelter), there is no place to walk in earthquake (like balancing yourself on a rope).
Hurricane is predictable, earthquake is unpredictable.
You can prepare for an heartattack in a hurricane, you cannot prepare for an heartattack in a hurricane.

All in all, both disaster has the same consequence. Food, water, and power and medical treatment become scarce.

And me, I prefer earthquake. It dosn’t come annually. Maybe every decade???

“May God have mercy”. Ver restantes fotos aqui. [...]
