When Smoking Was Cool

I wonder how many innocent people received a free case of cancer along with the box of cigarettes they purchased based on the ads in yesteryears. Best example not to trust everything you see on ads!

OK, I just went to Wikipedia to look up what happened to Brian Keith, the actor pictured in one of these:

“During the later part of his life, Keith suffered from emphysema and lung cancer, despite having quit smoking ten years earlier (he had posed for Camel cigarettes in an endorsement campaign in 1955).”

    What a shame.
