Real Excuse Notes

These are apparently real excuse notes written by parents for the teachers. Is it any wonder that our kids seem to be doing worse than the kids from Asia?

My father was a high school teacher many years back and he recieved a letter of excuse from a student whom everyone knew had a japanese father. It was written totally in japanese but the funny thing was my father was quick to see that it was written as “Sapporo Number One Ramen Noodles” and with instructions on how to cook it (in japanese of course).
