  @AnoN, when Hamas is firing rockets into Israel, who do you think they are targeting if not innocent Israeli civilians? It is sad that innocent civilians get hurt and I wish there could be a better way to handle this situation but Hamas is known to be using civilians as a human shield. Like it or not – Israel has a right to protect itself.

  In 2006, Hezbollah killed 150 jews, over 100 of whom were ITF members(the Israeli Terrorist Force) using the same Qassam pieces of crap that Hamas use. Meanwhile, the ITF murdered over 2000 Lebanese, barely more than 100 of whom were Hezbollah members. Now in 2008, Hamas have killed roughly 20 jews while the ITF has killed ten of their own by “friendly fire”, on top of more than 1000 Palestinian civilians they have deliberately targeted and mass murdered. Back in 1945 at Nuremburg, such actions as Israel is doing were called “collective punishment” and people were convicted for it. For anyone to believe that this is about Israel “defending itself” requires a severe disconnect from reality and/or the facts. Hamas are not the targets here and this is not self-defense – it’s intimidation and terrorism. The ITF is targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure with the goal of the forced removal or voluntary escape of Palestinians from their land. The final solution (deliberately chosen words) is a pure jews-only state and 2000 years of Palestinians wandering in the wilderness. The 1967 borders provide enough land for everybody, but that’s not good enough for Israel.

  @P Smith – If you think that Israel (after all the crap they had to go through since WW II) would want to eliminate the Palestinian’s you are mistaken. Which side keeps calling for the destruction of Israel and keeps saying they will not stop until all the Jews are forced out? Israel has absolutely no interest in the Gaza strip. Look it up in the map, and figure out for yourself why would anyone want anything with that small piece of land? What other country in the world would just sit and do nothing when rockets are fired towards its cities? do you REALLY think that the US will be sitting quietly if Mexico or Canada start shooting rockets towards US cities? how long do you think it will take before the US will take out that country with a nuke or two? – Israel waited 8 years… (while NO ONE said it’s wrong to shoot at civilians) and above it all – what other country will warn the civilians in the Gaza strip to take cover because they do not want to harm civilians? Hamas is firing towards Israel from schools and hospitals because they want civilians to get hurt. It makes good headlines for them. I’m very sad that there are people that believe the stuff you wrote. You have no idea what you’re talking about and I’m not going to go into an argument about that with you. It’s not going to change anything, you’re going to stick to your opinions and I doubt further comments from me will change it.

  “Like it or not – Israel has a right to protect itself.” The exact same excuse could be used by Hamas, considering the crimes Israel is committing to the people of the Gaza Strip, let alone Palestinians as a whole.

  Whatever reason it is, bombardment civilian is mass murder. Israel can said whatever they want but their army is openly shoot at innocent civilian. Compare the causality of both side it laughable at Israel’s “justice”.

  Well , people in the middle east know the truth about the palestinian israelian conflict . Large cities were wiped out and people were forced out of them in 1948 and 1967 , many palestinians live outside there country as refuges or they were given another nationalities just to eliminate there right to return to their land . People outside middle east dont know the truth , their media is directioned to show that palestinians and arabs are always wrong ….. well , as a palestinian ( jordanian now with a refuge card ) I know that muslims and christians lived there happily and everything was perfect untill Israel was created , even christians are being killed but the media does not show you all the truth , I can answer any of your questions and I can give you references . I am also sure that you can find palestinians living next to you and you can ask them . Thank you for reading this
