PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is probably one of the most successful organization in getting big stars and celebs to join in their cause. They have over 2 million members and supporters and is supposedly the biggest animal rights group in the world. It was founded in 1980 as a non-profit organisation. Their slogan: “Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.”

Yes, wearing fur is bad – I get it.
Now put your pants back on Steve-O. Yer scarin’ the kids.
Love the average mentality posted here. Are there PETA people that go overboard? Sure (Sorry, whether someone wears fur isn’t a good thing- but it’s not YOUR decision to make to spray paint THEIR property!). Is it time for humanity to grow up? Yes, waaaaay overdue. Is it evil to wear fur or eat meat? Mores change. It’ll be a long time before humans find the satisfaction to leave and let live. Perhaps, instead of finding ill in their message, people could take an actual moment of their oh-so-busy and important lives to contemplate the message from PETA. All life is precious. The best message is Paul McCartney’s poster: “…his life was as important to him as mine was to me”. Another of his messages was, is and always will be important- “All you need is love.” Perhaps that should include loving life- and not just your own?
