I remember those earlier games. I played Duke Nukem alot when I was a kid. I’ve tried playing it again lately, but unfortunately, I have discovered that at the age of 21 I am now susceptible to FPS induced motion sickness. Sucks.
Most of the games here I have the opportunity to play. It’s something amazing the evolution that happens within only 2 decades. Because of that the games industry is one of the most successful on this last years, in front of Movies and Music.
What I don’t get are morons who look down on the older computer games, morons too stupid to understand their value. You show Pong to one of them and they’ll say “That’s pathetic. You think that was fun?” yet there weren’t even home computers at the time.
It’s as stupid as rappers who spit on the music of Chuck Berry and Motown. We didn’t get to where we are in one step.

Man you reminded me of the old games today! .. I would like to add few more games .. I used to play these games on my IBM XT Computer which was 4.77mhz with 64kb Ram and had only the 360kb floppy drive .. no harddrive .. the games were:

its great and all, but where is the information that actually helps us with the evolution of games, and would help a hell of alot if it was in chronological order. i mean, i see ssb’s after mgs4 and cod4. but otherwise, good choice of games to demonstrate.
