I rode a bus on a road on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines that was nowhere near as steep or narrow, and it was still frightening.

The road was barely 8 meters wide in most places, 6 meters in some. And while it may have only been 50-100 meters down the highest cliffs, not hundreds of meters, it was still high enough to kill. And with the way the Filipinos drive, you’d think they’re in a hurry to meet their “god”.

So, how do they resolve a big truck and a big bus meeting on that road?

I assume they must be really good at backing up.

from what I saw on the show on TLC or Discovery there are certain sections wide enough for two vehicles to pass…you just have to be at that section when passing occurs. So a lot of backing up.
