Pre-Order Windows 7 and Save

windows7a

If you are like me you own a Windows machine and you have yet to take the dive into Vista hell.  Well Windows 7 is hitting stores in October and is supposed to fix everything that Vista did wrong.  To make sure the people are upgrading to the new version Microsoft is giving some very nice pre-order deals on the product for current owners. The Home Premium is only $49 down from $119 and Professional is $99 down from $199.  I am not 100% on getting a new windows machine, but i will most likely upgrade given the pricing.

I run all Vista PC’s and never ever had issues with any of them, other than not having a HP Printer driver released which is resolved.

I have a Vista system which I use as a media center/gaming machine for COD5 as well as another machine for web development running Paintshop, Dreamweaver etc and they all run sweet. Neither have ever crashed, no blue screens of death, no hanging, nothing . . . The biggest issue with new PC’s running Vista is that it nead RAM, I am running 3Gb from it’s standard 1Gb.

MAC, would love one, but probably for the wrong reasons . . . . style.
OK, plus there is the whole, I hate MS as well, but I just can’t be arsed to have to learn a whole new OS, when unfortunately Vista is stable for me, if it was as flaky as XP, then yeah, I most likely would have changed to MAC a long time ago………
