One year ago Hurricane Ike rolled into Texas and ripped it apart. However from that destruction the towns left destroyed have come back and rebuilt. It makes you wonder what the hell is going on in New Orleans and why so much of that city is still a disaster area.

WELL AT LEAST THEY FIXED THERE SHIT, BUT I WAS DEPLOYED TO NEW ORLEANS IN THE AFTERMATH OF KATRINA AND BOY IT WAS A REAL HORRIFYING MESS, AND YOU NEVER FORGET THE NASTY SMELL OF DEAD ROTTING CORPSES. WE WERE STAYING AT THE CONVENTION CENTER AND UPSTAIRS FROM US WAS THE MORGUE WITH 180 BODIES. IMAGINE ALL THE CREEPY SHIT DURING THE 3 WEEKS I WAS THERE. AS I WALKED THE ABANDONED STREETS PATROLLING I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A ZOMBIE MOVIE.
wow man…
For one thing, there were no levees that broke and flooded a city below sea level for a week or more during Ike.
