The Crystal Cathedral

The Crystal Cathedral is located in Garden Grove, California.  It is a Protestant sanctuary that was built between 1977-1980 for a cost of nearly $17 million – $11 million over budget.  However the structure, which consists of 10,000 glass panels, attracts nearly 250,000 visitors each year.  I guess for the cost it is still on great investment.
