Mount St. Helens Erupts
If you lived in Washington state in 1980 you would have had a front row seat for the massive eruption of Mount St. Helens. The volcano blew its top on May 18, 1980 at 8:32AM. The event left 57 dead, 250 homes, 47, bridges, 15 miles of rail, and 185 miles of highway destroyed!

Footprints of Hurricane Ike
Hurricane Ike was a Category 4 hurricane, with wind speeds of up to 145 mph. It was apparently the most severe storm thus far in 2008. The damage done by Ike is estimated to up be up to $27 billion along the coastal areas of US. Here is what’s left after Hurricane Ike passes through.
