Did you notice the throwback uniforms worn by some teams this weekend in the NFL? The league is commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the original 8 AFL Franchises that brought in a new era of professional football. The Boston Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Houston Oilers, My New York Titans (New York Jets), Dallas Texans (Kansas City Chiefs), Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, and the Oakland Raiders kicked off a high flying vertical passing type league in 1960 and during the season you will see some cool throwback looks. Even the refs get in on the act with their creamsicle colored uniforms. The league made a cool commercial with the Patriots and the theme song for Cheers. They will be in New York this week to face the Gang Green and I will be there waiting for my guys to take down the Patsies! Have to admit the cheerleaders up in New England are top notch!
