It’s hard to get really close up pictures of planes from different time periods. Unless of course you have the ability to create really professional models…i would just sniff the glue and pass out.

A few months ago when a commercial passenger plane was forced to land in the Hudson River after colliding with birds people had no idea how common such an occurrence was. You would think with all the sky up there that the odds of a bird hitting a plane would be next to impossible, but that isn’t the case. If a bird hitting a huge jet can bring it down what happens when it hits other types of aircrafts? Some of these image are a bit graphic so if you are an animal lover or squeamish you might want to skip it.

I used to love flying, but I married a woman that gets freaked on takeoffs and landing. So now I get freaked because she has destroyed my brain and flying makes me a bit nervous these days. These pictures do not help!

Planes painted in all designs and colors for the viewing pleasure of birds and the clouds.
Look at this cloud! In fact, it’s not natural. It emerged because of the flares of a jet plane, C-17 Globemaster III in the sky over the Atlantic Ocean in May earlier this year. The smoke from the flares forms such interesting clouds that are sometimes called ‘the Smoke Angels’.
